Afreximbank, Africa CDC to Build $2B Pharma Manufacturing Facility

As part of the "Africa Health Security Investment Plan" the new facility will support the health product manufacturing ambition of the continent.

African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and the Africa Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) have renewed their partnership with a new cooperation agreement announced June 20, 2024 on the sidelines of the Global Forum for Vaccine Sovereignty and Innovation in Paris, France.
